The landscape, including the mountains of the western United States, the coastline of California, the rivers and shoreline of New England, and the hills and orchards of Italy provide the inspiration for my art. I am drawn to nature’s drama and find infinite variations in light, shapes, colors and lines. Depicting the interaction of these elements, including patterns, variety of repetitions, light and dark pathways, and intimate and deep space are my focus.
